Thulani Mabaso knows Robben Island all too well. He was Prisoner No. 30/84 -- the 30th person to be imprisoned in 1984. "Your number was your name," he recalls. Thulani was released in 1990. Today, he chooses to spend his days back on the island. He leads tours, but his mission runs deeper. "We need to make sure that what happened to us never happens to future generations," he says.
