  Lenin

Relics of old leadership
The Russians held Mongolia as part of their "sphere" until 1990, and the capital city still has many remnants of its Soviet past. Among them is this massive Lenin bust in what used to be the Lenin Museum. Several enterprising capitalists have converted the lobby into a bar and pool hall -- right under the stone-cold nose of the arch anti-capitalist. Important note to all command-and-control managers: Visit the Lenin Museum in Ulan Bator.
